Matcha Oreo Tiramisu

No-bake Matcha Golden Oreo Tiramisu with mascarpone cream and espresso

An Asian take on the classic tiramisu. This matcha tiramisu has layers of golden oreo soaked in espresso layered between creamy matcha mascarpone cream.


  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup Thickened/ heavy cream (120g)
  • 1 cup Mascarpone cheese (225g)
  • 1/2 tsp Matcha powder (2g)
  • 30 Golden Oreos
  • 1 cup Hot brewed coffee
  • 1 tbsp Frangelico/Rum/Kahula
  • Matcha powder for dusting


  1. Split the oreos and remove the cream, placing it in a medium sided mixing bowl
  2. Into the medium bowl with the oreo cream add the egg yolks and whisk until smooth
  3. Add the thickened/heavy cream and whisk until medium stiff peaks
  4. Add the mascarpone cream and whisk until combined
  5. Whisk in the matcha powder
  6. To the hot brewed coffee add the alcohol (optional)
  7. Dip the oreos in the coffee and place in your serveware of choice (glass, ramekin, bowl, etc)
  8. After one layer of oreos add a layer of mascarpone cream, then another layer of oreos
  9. Continue until there is no more mascarpone cream
  10. Smooth the top and dust with matcha powder
  11. Place in the refrigerator to set for 2-3 hours, enjoy!
