What is 3 Ingredient Strawberry Sorbet
3 Ingredient Strawberry Sorbet is a refreshing and healthy dessert made with just three simple ingredients: strawberries, lemon, and honey. It’s a perfect summer treat that’s quick and easy to prepare without needing an ice cream maker.
Where it is from: This sorbet recipe has its roots in Italy, where traditional sorbet (or “sorbetto”) is made with simple, fresh ingredients to create a refreshing dessert.
How to Make It: To make this delightful sorbet, you’ll need to freeze the strawberries and lemon juice, then blend them with honey until smooth. Serve it immediately for a refreshing treat or freeze for a firmer texture.

Ingredients
- Punnets Strawberries: Provide the main flavor and texture of the sorbet. Fresh strawberries make a sweet and tangy base for this simple sorbet recipe.
- Lemons: Add a tangy freshness and help balance the sweetness of the strawberries. Lemon juice also keeps the sorbet bright and refreshing.
- Honey or Agave: Acts as a natural sweetener, enhancing the taste without adding refined sugar. This makes it a healthy sorbet choice.

Tips for Perfect Strawberry Sorbet
- Use ripe and sweet strawberries for the best flavor: Ripe strawberries are naturally sweeter, making your strawberry sorbet recipe taste amazing.
- Adjust the sweetener according to the sweetness of the strawberries: If your strawberries are very sweet, you might need less honey. If they are a bit tart, add a bit more honey to your simple sorbet recipe.
- Add a bit of water if the mixture is too thick: This helps achieve the perfect consistency for your homemade sorbet, ensuring it’s smooth and easy to scoop.

Serving Suggestions
- Serve the sorbet in bowls or cones: This makes your healthy sorbet a fun and easy treat to enjoy. Perfect for a quick dessert on a hot day.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves or a slice of lemon: Adding a touch of mint or lemon makes your strawberry sorbet look and taste extra special.
- Pair with other summer desserts for a delightful treat: Serve alongside other homemade frozen treats or fruit-based desserts for a refreshing summer feast.
